Ano novo ... vida nova ?

Ano novo, vida nova! Sempre que se aproxima o fim do ano ouço estas palavras. Refletindo sobre o que elas me querem dizer concluí que elas querem ser um convite a não adentrarmos o ano que se inicia com as coisas velhas, com aquilo que deve ficar para trás. De fato, existe sempre o risco de ficarmos sobrecarregados com as coisas do passado, com aquilo que vivemos e não foi tão bom, tão positivo para o ano que vai ficando para trás.
Desta forma, entramos no novo ano amargurados, e não livres de muita coisa que nos poderia tornar mais leve. Já Jesus quando enviou os discípulos, pediu-lhes, que não levassem muita coisa com eles pois isso poderia prejudicar-lhes na missão: “Disse-lhes: Não leveis coisa alguma para o caminho, nem bordão, nem mochila, nem pão, nem dinheiro, nem tenhais duas túnicas”. (Lucas 9,3)
Da mesma forma, o Senhor não quer que adentremos o novo ano apegado a coisas do passado. O passado só nos resta colocar na Misericórdia de Deus. E desta forma, podermos entrar livres no ano que se inicia, e, desta forma, definitivamente o ano novo será sim vida nova.
Então, antes que o ano termine, talvez reste algumas pendências a serem resolvidas: uma pessoa a que pedir perdão, outra a quem perdoar, outra ainda com quem se reconciliar, alguma dívida a pagar, de modo a não deixar pendências para trás.
Jesus deseja de cada um de nós uma única coisa: viver o momento presente. É isso que rezamos no Pai Nosso: “O Pão Nosso de cada dia nos dai hoje!” Pedimos o pão para o dia de hoje. Ele disse a Santa Faustina: “Desejo que haja mais fé em vós, nos momentos presentes” (Diárioi 332)., isso é, desejo que vocês aprendam a viver mais o momento presente, o ano que começa. Deixemos então para trás o passado e nos disponhamos a entrar no novo que se apresenta.

New year, new life! "Whenever we approach the end of the year I hear these words. Reflecting on what they want me to say I have concluded that they want to be a call not to move into the coming year with the old stuff, with what must be left behind. In fact, there is always the risk of being overwhelmed with things of the past with what we have experienced and not so good, so good for the year that is left behind.
Thus, we enter the new year bitter, and not free of much that we could make it lighter. Now when Jesus sent his disciples, asked them who did not take much with them because it could hurt them in the mission, "he said to them: Take nothing for your journey, neither staff, nor bag, nor bread, nor money, neither have two coats. " (Luke 9.3)
Likewise, the Lord does not want to move into the new year attached to things of the past. The past we can only put in the Mercy of God. And so, we can get free in the coming year, and thus definitely the new year will be rather new life.
So before the year ends, perhaps remains some outstanding issues to be resolved: one person to ask forgiveness, to forgive another, still another with whom he reconciled, some debt to pay in order not to let disputes behind.
Jesus wants each of us one thing: to live the present moment. That's what we pray the Our Father: "O our daily bread give us this day!" We ordered the bread for the day. He told Saint Faustina, "I want to have more faith in you, in the present moments" (Diaries 332)., That is, I want you to learn to live more in the moment, the year begins. So let us leave the past behind and have to enter the new flies.
