Igreja no Brasil celebra o dia do Nascituro.

A Igreja no Brasil celebra nesta quinta-feira, 8, o Dia do Nascituro. Após a Semana Nacional da Vida, de 1 a 7 de outubro, a Igreja procura destacar a importância do nascituro como ser humano já concebido.

"Nascituro é a criança que está no ventro materno, desde a fecundação até o seu nascimento. Portanto, aquela que tem o direito de nascer", explica o presidente da Comissão Episcopal para a Vida e a Família da CNBB, Dom Orlando Brandes.

Segundo o arcebispo, a vida é muito ameaçada em todo o mundo. "É ameaçada pelo aborto, pela manipulação de células-tronco, pela eutanásia, pela fome, pela violência... Nós precisamos gritar a favor da vida humana". Por este motivo a CNBB instituiu o dia 8 de outubro como o Dia do Nascituro, e a data é celebrada desde 2005.

A Igreja sempre se posicionou contra o aborto, enfatiza Dom Orlando, e explica que, além de desrespeitar o princípio básico da vida, este ato prejudica a própria mãe. "Antes de tudo, nós precisamos ser os defensores da vida, em obediência e respeito ao Criador. A vida é um bem primário, fundamental e básico. E o aborto é tirar uma vida humana, de alguém que tem o direito de existir. Além disso, faz muito mal a própria gestante. O aborto prejudica duas vidas, a vida da criança que é eliminada e a vida da mãe que é prejudicada".

Para a coordenadora da Pastoral Familiar da Arquidiocese de São Paulo, Ana Maria Carvalho, parece contraditório falar em defesa da vida numa época em que a vida parece descartável. Mas quando se trata em defender o maior direito de todos, o direito a vida, a coordenadora é categórica. "Nós defensores da vida, que lutamos contra a maré, com a graça de Deus temos conseguido celebrar a vida e defendê-la através de celebrações, palestras, atividades paroquiais, para conscientizar as pessoas", comenta.

Em todo o Brasil, na semana pela vida e especialmente no dia do nascituro, a Pastoral Familiar intensifica suas atividades, com o objetivo de sempre buscar uma reflexão sobre os diferentes ataques a vida. "Especialmente o problema do aborto, método que fere o direito de quem ainda está por nascer e que desde os primeiros dias de gestação o feto tem direitos, como a dignidade e integridade como pessoa", explica a coordenadora.

Ana Maria lembra ainda que outro ataque a vida é a fertilização in vitro, método que segundo ela, produz milhares de embriões e aproveita poucos, como se a vida fosse descartável.

A Coordenadora da Pastoral Familiar lembra que em todo o Brasil milhares de pessoas se unem hoje na luta pela vida. "Que Deus nos proteja e nos dê força e coragem para continuar lutando pela vida em todas as suas formas", conclui.

Throughout Brazil, last week for life and especially on the unborn, the Pastoral Family steps up activities in order to always seek a debate on various attacks on life. "Especially the issue of abortion, a method that violates the rights of those still unborn, and that from the earliest days of pregnancy the fetus has rights, the dignity and integrity as a person," the coordinator explains.

Ana Maria also noted that another attack life is in vitro fertilization method, which she said, produces thousands of embryos and takes just as if life is disposable.

The Coordinator of Pastoral Care points out that in Brazil thousands of people come together on the struggle for life. "May God protect us and give us strength and courage to continue fighting for life in all its forms," he concludes.
