A vida sexual depois dos filhos - The sex life after kids

A idade gera experiência.

The sex life after kids

The sexual relationship of the couple can not get lost after the arrival of children
God endowed the sex life of deep dignity and unitive and procreative meaning.
He wanted humans were spiritual and material, something like a beautiful synthesis of the animal, which has only body; with the angel, that is spirit only. Endowing the body of man, wanted it to be sexed as animals; however, your sex life should be guided not by animal instinct, but the soul, and enlightened by intelligence, embellished freedom, driven by will and lived in love. And it should be lived all his life.

A couple should never think that God is far upon their most intimate union; because this act is holy and sanctifying marriage and loved by God. The sexual act in its proper place - at the wedding - well understood in their spiritual and psychological aspects, is one of the most noble and significant that a human being can perform actions as it is the "source of life" and "celebration conjugal love. "The virtue of chastity, rather than be the renunciation of sex, means its proper use.
Says Dr. Alphone H. Clemens, Director of the Counseling Center of the Catholic University of America, Washington, DC, that sex:
"It is an act of great beauty and deep spiritual significance, for conjugal love between two Christians in a state of grace is a fusion of two bodies are temples of the Trinity, and a fusion of two souls who participate in the divine life. On the other hand, used properly, it becomes a source of unity, harmony, peace and adjustment. Intensifies the love between husband and wife, and works as a shield against infidelity and incontinence. The full human personality, even in its supernatural aspects, is enriched for sex, since the act of conjugal love is also deserving of thanks "(Clemens, 1969 pg. 175).
Says Raoul of Gutchenere in "Judgment on Birth Control," which "was recognized for quite some time, that sexual relations produce profound psychological effects, especially on women. In general, the act of conjugal love causes relaxation, vigor, confidence, satisfaction, general well-being, sense of security and a provision that leads to forgetfulness of frictions and tensions between the couple minor "(Apud Clemens, pg. 177).
No wonder that St. Paul, 2000 years ago, already recommended to Christian spouses: "Refuse not ye one another, so that Satan may not tempt you" (1 Cor 7.5).
The refusal of sex without reason can represent not only an injustice to the spouse, but also the danger of exposing the infidelity and the marriage to fail. This shows that couples should not stay long separated whatever reasons, especially for minor reasons. Prolonged expulsion of them can generate a stress situation, especially for the man, even in old age. Some manage to overcome this forced abstinence with a religious sublimation, but not everyone has the same provision.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church says: "Sexuality affects all aspects of the human person in his unity of body and soul. Particularly with regard to the affectivity, the capacity to love and to procreate, and in a more general way the aptitude to create bonds of communion with others. (Cat. § 2332)
Even after the couple reach a ripe old age, and no longer able to bear children - mostly because of menopause of women - their sex life continues to vigorously. The men, especially, have sex life to death. And it is in this period that sex can be more harmonious than before.
This phase of life, in which children are grown and the couple have more time to talk, going out etc.., Their relationship tends to be better than before if they are in love. And as sexual life is "manifestation of love," the sexual act mature couple has everything to be harmonious and satisfactory for both. The age generates experience.
During this period, concerns about their children and the economic life normally decrease, and each joins over another, even for the needs of the age. Have met several couples who came to sexual harmony, ie, satisfaction, only this phase of life. In fact, as experts said cited above, the sex life of a mature couple is a tonic for them and reason for fulfillment and happiness. The fact that they can no longer bear children does not prevent full sexual act, because if there is not the procreative aspect, there is the unitive that justifies.
The couple's love is a sign of God's love for humanity; and the sexual act mirrors the strength and greatness of that love in any age of the couple.
